The number of jurors in a jury trial will depend. The United States Supreme Court has ruled that there is no right to a jury of twelve persons. Although this is the normal number of jurors used, it is not required. The Supreme Court has, however, said that a jury of at least six jurors is required to satisfy the right to a jury trial that is guaranteed by the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
